Quickphos is composed of aluminum phosphide. It liberates phosphine gas when it is in contact with humidity, which is deadly to insects at all levels of development.
Quickphos is used to control stored insect pest of grains, seeds, dried fruits, pasta and noodles, flour, wood, raw agricultural commodities, processed foods, and other non food items. It can control all stages of stored product pests when properly used according to the label.
